Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Indiestry (operating at indiestryvoice.com). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, you may not use the platform.

Who can use Indiestry

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that misrepresent age.

Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials. Don't share your password. Notify us at support@indiestryvoice.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may have only one account at a time. Don't impersonate another person, organization, or business.

The information you provide must be accurate. You may use a stage name, professional alias, or pseudonym in your display name.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post on Indiestry — including posts, comments, demo reels, photos, job listings, and direct messages. By posting, you grant Indiestry a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content as needed to operate the platform.

This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the content has been shared with others (for example, a comment on someone else's post may persist as part of that post's history) or where we need to retain it for legal or moderation purposes.

You're responsible for the content you post. Don't post content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that depicts violence, self-harm, or harm to others
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the platform to send spam, run scams, or solicit Indiestry members for unrelated commercial purposes
• Scrape, copy, or republish the platform's data outside of normal account use
• Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorized to access
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise probe Indiestry's systems for vulnerabilities (security researchers may report findings to support@indiestryvoice.com)
• Upload viruses, malware, or any code intended to damage Indiestry or other users
• Submit fraudulent applications, fake demo reels, or misleading job postings

Job postings and applications

Members can post and apply to casting calls, auditions, and other voice acting opportunities through Indiestry. Job posters are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for following applicable employment, labor, and tax laws. Applicants are responsible for the accuracy of their applications, demo reels, and credentials.

Indiestry is not a party to any agreement between job posters and applicants. We don't verify credentials, conduct background checks, or guarantee that any listed opportunity is legitimate. Use your own judgment, and report suspicious postings to support@indiestryvoice.com.

Community chat, direct messages, and groups

Community chat is moderated. We may remove messages, restrict access, or remove users from chat at our discretion based on our Community Guidelines.

Direct messages and group messages are subject to the same Community Guidelines. We may review reported messages.

Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, if your behavior endangers other users, or if we are required to by law. We will generally provide notice and an opportunity to address violations, except in serious cases.

You may deactivate or delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone.

Indiestry's content

The Indiestry platform itself — including the software, design, branding, and all content not owned by users — is the property of Indiestry and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the platform's code or branding without permission.

Disclaimers

Indiestry is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, that the platform will be free of bugs, or that any specific feature will continue to be available. We don't guarantee that you will find work, get hired, or achieve any particular outcome through the platform.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Indiestry and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of your use of the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim related to the platform will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100) USD.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Indiestry against claims, damages, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the platform, or your violation of these Terms.

Copyright and DMCA

If you believe content on Indiestry infringes your copyright, send a written notice to support@indiestryvoice.com that includes:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• A description of where on Indiestry the infringing material is located (URL or post identifier)
• Your contact information (name, address, email)
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
• Your physical or electronic signature

We will investigate and remove infringing content. We will also terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida (where Indiestry is operated). Disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to jurisdiction in those courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of the new Terms means you accept them.
